Bordering Brushes

First take out any picture…I’m using this one:

Now, make a new raster layer.

Now add any kind of brushes you want to the raster layer…

Now CTRL COPY your whole raster layer into a black background and then press CTRL E to
put them as a new selection on the background. It should look like this:

Now…go to selections>modify>expand.

Now, a window should pop up, set the pixels to 2.

After you are done click okay, then press CTRL C and then go to your original picture and press CTRL
L…you can delete your old brushes with the borders if you like, OR you can change the layer of
the bordered brushes to like overlay and make a cool effect with them!

I chose not to do anything with the layers, so mine turned out like this:
