Weave Effect

I will be using this picture:

Go to Layers > Duplicate so that the base layer is now duplicated.
After that go to Effects > Texture Effects > Weave and match your settings to mine:

After that set your duplicated layer to Soft Light and your picture comes out so much nicer.
